You can watch glass being made by our gaffers at the Hot Glass Show, and make your own glass at The Studio. You can learn about the art, history, science, and technology of glass at The Rakow Research Library.
What did a glassmaker look like 50, 100, or 400 years ago? Our glass and library collections have many different depictions of glassblowers, artists, and factory workers. These range from 19th century advertisements for traveling flameworkers to 16th century engravings in technical manuals to 20th century glass objects.
