Get fired up and join us for the return of 2300°!
It’s been almost three years since the Museum last hosted a 2300° event. That was in February 2020, just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered the Museum and indefinitely canceled the much-enjoyed program. 2020 was to be the 20th anniversary year of 2300° and the program had been fully revamped to be bigger and better, or, as Scott Ignaszewski, events and program manager, described it at the time: “We’ve kicked it up a notch!” Read more about the 20th-anniversary celebrations and the history of 2300° here.
Fire & Ice, the first event of 2020 was a raging success, but of course, neither staff nor guests could have known it would be their last. That is, until now. We’ve decided to end 2022 on a high. We’re bringing back all your favorites: live music, food*, drinks, and high-energy glassmaking demonstrations with exciting special guests. And you can enjoy all this in the company of your closest friends and family.
So, join us on November 17, from 6 – 8 pm, and help us get the party started!
Live Glass Making
Live glassmaking is always the main attraction at any 2300° but you definitely don’t want to miss this one. Join us as we welcome Blown Away artist and winner, Cat Burns as she sets the Amphitheater Hot Shop ablaze with her flamboyant style and wicked sense of humor. Cat will be demoing all night so stop by and watch the magic happen!
Live Music
What would a 2300° be without music? Dance the night away and have a foot-stomping good time with musical performances from local musicians and our headliner for the evening, The Zac Brown Tribute Band! Local country-rock duo Wendy Owen and Jim Anderson will also perform live.

2300° is free and open to the public. The Museum provides a free shuttle bus service from the Welcome Center parking lot off I-86.
*The Café will remain open throughout the evening with a special dinner option and assorted grab-and-go items. Drinks are also available for purchase.
