Hello, and welcome to 2022!
In 2021, our visitors found delight, inspiration, and above all else, bright colors at the Museum!
From making glass at The Studio to painting Fred Wilson’s To Die Upon a Kiss chandelier, visitors created their own works of art in our spaces and about work in our collection.
One researcher at the Rakow Library found beauty in stained glass window designs while another visitor had the fun coincidence of matching their mask to Spencer Finch’s installation The Secret Life of Glass. A lot of folks also found art in our admission sticker collection site!
It was so great to see families and couples enjoy visits to the Museum on social media as well. A meet and greet with Nao Yamamoto and Andi Kovel from Blown Away proved to be a great way to wrap up the year.
We’re looking forward to what 2022, the International Year of Glass, brings at the Museum and we’re excited to see what joy visitors find here this year.
