Davide Salvadore is from a family of Venetian glassworkers. In 1987, he and two partners founded the studio Campagnol e Salvadore, where he works as a glass master. Salvadore is also a founding member of Centro Studio Vetro, in Murano, a nonprofit association that aims to promote the culture and art of glass.
What has your involvement been with The Studio over the years? As an artist and glass master from Murano, I have collaborated with CMoG for more than 10 years giving workshops as a teacher.

What do you like about working at The Studio? In a historical town like Corning, a place always more characterized every year by glass craftsmanship, it is easy to live an important experience and feel inspired. CMoG unites different artistic and non-artistic streams, providing constant information and enhancing the glass movement. The permanent exhibition of one of the most important collections of glass in the world is definitely something fascinating.
As The Studio celebrates its 20th birthday, what would you say about its effect on the glass community? The protection of the glass movement is one of the factors which qualifies CMoG as one of the reference institutions for the glass community in the world.
