We’ve reached 15,000 followers on Tumblr and we wanted to say thanks for following.
Our newest social media channel shares glass art and design, both from the Museum’s collection, and from other museums and artists on Tumblr. We’ve posted over 550 videos, images, and quotes since we started in May. We’ve been featured on Tumblr Radar and are excited to be included in the Museum spotlight.
Follow our Tumblr blog, and you’ll find things like collection highlights, artist interviews and demos, New Glass Review submissions, and other news and highlights from the glass world. A few recent favorites include a lampworked Horse Skeleton by Dafna Kaffeman, an artist entry to New Glass Review titiled Illuminata, and the pipe warmer at The Studio.
Tumblr isn’t the only way to stay connected with the Museum. Stay up-to-date by following us on Facebook and Twitter, or explore the collection on Pinterest. See more photos and videos of what’s happening at the Museum on Instagram, Flickr, and YouTube, and continue to go behind-the-scenes with all the news here on the blog.
We love hearing your stories and seeing your photos, and we’re always happy to answer questions, or just appreciate incredible glass with you, so keep it coming, and thanks for sharing.
